Healthy Snacks that can be made at Home

2. Zucchini Flower Fry

  • Preparation Time: 5 minutes
  • Cooking Time: 10 minutes
  • Servings: 2

Ingredients:

  • 6 zucchini flowers
  • 1 cup coconut flour
  • ¼ tsp ginger
  • ¼ tsp garlic
  • ¼ tsp onion
  • A pinch of salt
  • Olive oil to fry

Direction:

  1. Wash the zucchini flower carefully and let them rinse for 10 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl combine the coconut flour with ginger, garlic, onion powder, salt and mix well.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Dip the zucchini flower in the batter and add to the oil once the oil is hot enough.
  5. Repeat the process, while frying the zucchini flowers, do not overcrowd the skillet.
  6. Sprinkle some garlic powder on to before serving. Serve with your homemade tomato sauce.
