Merida is a beautiful town of the country. When stepped in, tourist will be taken back to colonial time with its narrow streets, museums and broad plazas. Having cultural crossroads.

6. Playa Del Carmen:

Another city with sea beach to offer for its travelers, Playa Del Carmen is a mass tourists destination. The reefs here are breathtaking and offer snorkeling and diving.

7. Huatulco: Former fishing town has been turned into luxurious resort city. All types of water sports like diving, snorkeling and also cycling along the beach are available here.

8. Todos Santos: Todos Santos claims to have the real Hotel California. Also this city offers clam boat trips at day and quiet return at night.

9. Sayulita: Another former fish town turned into resort city alongside the jungle, Sayulita welcomes its tourists with wavering waves, sandy beaches, restaurants and tasty cuisines. Here tourists also gets beachside yoga and enjoy some surf culture.

10. Zipolite: With only one main road, Zipolite is of sleepy beach by the side of village which keeps pulling the tourist back. Though it’s a low key beach side, but it has its hotels and restaurants with all the facilities and thatched roof. Two interesting sites here are the sea turtle preservation center and a national park with protected coral reefs.
