2. The Giraffe Center

The giraffe center was created in 1979 when the Kenyan grandson of Scottish Jock Leslie-Melville and his wife Betty create an African Wildlife Fund. They capture a giraffe to start a giraffe breeding program on their property. It is still today around this property that is the center of giraffes.

The visit of the center of giraffes will amaze young and old as the giraffe is a friendly and impressive animal by its size. It is possible during the visit to learn how to feed the giraffes thanks to an elevated platform and to learn a lot of information on this particular animal. The center has now expanded to include an educational program for Kenyan children, informing them of the protection of wildlife.
