11. Temae and Moorea, French Polynesia

Two shores, blending together across the east coast of impossibly – abundant Moorea, have qualities that are particularly different. Teavaro (reached near the Sofitel Moorea Ia Ora Beach Resort) has low oceans guarded with an ocean, making it an excellent place for surfing. North of the Sofitel Temae, towards the airport has a surf break that is popular but is still secure for swimming off one of many largest stretches of sand in most of French Polynesia.
