Pressure Cooker Tomato Sauce

Among all the other sauce options available, my heart goes to tomato sauce the most! Perhaps because you can use it with everything and it would taste good. I feel mind blowing to use my own healthy version of sauce with my favorite snacks! The freshness of the tomato puree and the smell of garlic make me feel really special.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Servings: 1 cup

Ingredients
1 medium onion, roughly chopped
½ cup tomato puree
4 tbsp honey
1 tbsp sesame seed oil
½ cup water
½ tsp granulated garlic
⅛ tsp ground clove powder
4 tbsp (1/4 cup) white vinegar
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp liquid smoke
⅛tsp cumin powder

Direction:
In a pressure cooker add the sesame seed oil.
Add the onion and fry until brown.
Add the clove powder, white vinegar, honey, water, sea salt, paprika, tomato puree, liquid smoke and cumin powder.
Stir well and cover using the lid.
Cook on medium heat for about 20 minutes.
Take off the lid and continuously stir for 10 minutes.
Let it cool down and store in a airtight glass jar or bottle.
You can store it in the refrigerator for about 1 year.
