Blackberry Jam Recipe

2

In the middle of summer the air is filled with the amazing fragrance of fresh fruits like blackberries, strawberries, peaches, oranges etc. I personally love to start my day with the freshness of summer in the form a jam. Blackberries are one of my favorite fruits not just because of its unforgettable taste but also for its numerous health benefits. I summer from iron deficiency and among several other fruit options, I found berries as the ultimate iron supplier. Some people may argue that making jam is too much hard work when one can just buy them readymade from the stores! I would reply that making jam is only 25 minutes away if you follow my way!
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Servings: 1 cup

Ingredients:
1 cup blackberries
¼ cup honey
1 lemon, juiced, zest
1 tbsp butter
¼ tsp lemon extract
A pinch of cinnamon

Direction:
Cut the blueberries into half.
