Deadly Time Wasters You Must Avoid In Life
If we are honest with ourselves, we will admit that we are sticking to the wheel. We can blame our past, our parents, we can even blame our pets for the mistakes in our lives. But our greatest enemies? It is definitely ourselves.
Some waste of time in our lives undermines our energy and not only prevent us from being productive but also to achieve real success in our lives.
Deadly time wasters you must avoid in life:
- Clinging to the past
Regrets will never bring you anywhere except in a deep and dark pit of assumptions. You cannot change what happened, but you can make sure it does not happen again. The energy and emotion devoted to regret can be used in other creative ways. And this will help you learn and grow with experience.
- Wait for “something great” to happen
It is good that you believe in the realization of your dreams, but if you do not get to work, you will not realize big dreams. Things will not happen to you on a silver platter. You have to go out to realize them. Do whatever it takes to get them on when they pass.
If the great careers begin with small steps, then you only have to put one foot in front of the other and start walking.
- Seeking revenge
From the treachery of your colleague, your ex-girlfriend, you call that as you wish.
We all had that fantasy of running after whom nearly knocked you down on the highway or the boss who criticized you in front of your co-workers; but it is a waste of time, energy, and happiness.
Think about the last time you had an unfounded vengeance and where you felt good about it.
- Talking bad about others
This hurts both the gossip and the subject of gossip. This childish raillery – “sticks and stones can break my bones, but words will not hurt me” is a shameless lie.
The words hurt and once they have been pronounced, they cannot be resumed. And you? You will lose credibility and no one will ever entrust your secrets to you.
- Envy what others have
Do you know how they got there?
Were you there when they stood firm to the end, got up early to carry out their plans? So why do you think it’s okay to sit in his corner and let the green-eyed monster take you to places you should not go to?
- Negative beliefs
Negativity can be paralyzing and it prevents you from getting started. Negative beliefs come to mind and tell you that you are not good enough. That you have nothing to offer; that others are so much better than you.
Why would he (she) want to go out with you? Stop.
Until you recognize how negativity looks like a crutch, a familiar idol that keeps you unable to cope throughout your life, so you will always find yourself in a vicious circle pouring your emotions into a smaller with little room for escape or manipulation.
- Procrastination is the thief of time
When you need to clean your car (your most hated activity) or when you have to accomplish a major thing on your to-do list, then you have avoidance problems.
Read about how to overcome procrastination will not help you, until you make a firm decision to do so.
You have understood that you should do your best to avoid the time wasters which are only activities, often long, numerous and useless, but which, compared to their nature, bring you nothing or very much Low results!
