Meskel Square and Museums

This is one of the most famous rendezvous in Addis Ababa. The place is especially preferred at festival times. Here you can visit the tourism office and the two museums near the square. The Red Terror Martyrs Memorial Museum is a modern museum presenting the “Red Terror” period (1978-1978) in Ethiopia which made numerous innocent people suffer.
