The Van Gogh Museum

The Van Gogh Museum is the brain child of the prolifically imaginative nineteenth century artist Vincent Van Gogh. Every year this outstanding place draws no less than one and half a million visitors. The second most visited museum in the country, it’s also considered as the one of the most important art galleries in the world. It opened in 1973 and has the largest collection of the paintings of Van Gogh. The collection includes a god number of paintings, drawings and even letters of Van Gogh and also works of his contemporaries.
