3. Calgary Aerospace Museum
The Calgary Aerospace Museum is located south of Calgary International Airport and exhibits over 24 aircraft and 58 aircraft. Some of the aircraft come from the first museum called The Air Museum of Canada, which closed in 1971. There is also a section of the museum dedicated to Canadian space programs. The museum was founded in 1975 by pilots of the Second World War and aviation enthusiasts. It also features a memorial to Alberta airmen who died in the Second World War.
