Delicious Cheddar & Chive Almond Soufflés
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Servings: 8 Soufflés
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup almond flour
1 teaspoon ground mustard
6 large eggs
1/2 teaspoon xanthan gum
1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
3/4 cup heavy cream
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Grease the ramekins using cooking spray.
In a bowl whisk the eggs and make them fluffy.
Add cream of tartar and salt and beat well.
Combine the almond flour, mustard, almond flour, xanthan gum, cayenne, pepper, and salt.
Mix well and add the heavy cream, cheese and chives.
Finally combine the egg mixture with the flour mixture and fold gently.
Pour the mixture into the ramekins and place onto a baking tray.
Pour enough water into the baking tray to cover half 1 third of the ramekin cups.
Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes.
